È nato negli Stati Uniti nel 1868 e ha compiuto i suoi studi al New York Homoeopathic Medical College facendo in seguito pratica nel Vermont e poi nel Connectictut. Ha lavorato come medico ufficiale sulle navi da guerra durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale. È stato presidente dell'Associazione Internazionale Hahnemann (IHA) nel 1923 e ne ha curato gli archivi e le pubblicazioni dal 1927 al 1934. Scomparso nel 1950 all'età di 82 anni.
